Gower was an amateur photographer in Bakumatsu Japan. This is most likely a trip to see the old Dutch trading grounds of the Dutch trading house which was and is important for historians of European-Japanese trading relations.

Work

 Work has decided that for some reason, both this and next weekend have workdays on the weekend so Ive taken the opportunity to get my life-work balance completely fucked whilst doing spring cleaning a few months late and dyring of heatstroke whilst cursing the recycling schedule and wondering how many times I need to eat something horrible for breakfast.
